What exactly is Deep Practice?

Solid research of expert performance tells us that mastery in any field or endeavor is not based on talent, genetics, family background, intelligence or formal education. Instead, we know that becoming a true expert comes from hard work. In other words, expertise comes from practice.

But it is not just any kind of practice. It takes deliberate practice.
